Week 2 Discussion Post
Wikipedia
Research will become a powerful tool in your academic and professional arsenal. One part includes finding the right resources, which means steering clear of junk websites like “homework help,” anything for “dummies” and Wikipedia. The internet allows ANYBODY to create sites, blogs, and wikis. You need to ask yourself if you can authenticate the credentials of the author or publication. Does it have editors? Is it a professor’s website from “x” university?
There are homework help sites. Let me put this bluntly: these are CHEAT SITES with many assignments written by your least gifted classmate or plagiarized from a source.
Once you’ve found appropriate sources, the focus becomes letting your voice be heard while still giving credit to the author of your resource. Want to be safe? The library contains databases of periodicals, journals, etc. Fortune, Newsweek, Journal of “xx” and even newspapers. Government resources are great, and your tax dollars pay for them so why not get your money’s worth?
Think about it this way: You are seeking a graduate degree, so we want to hear your perspective (in your words) backed by solid research. Be smart. Research smart. Write smart.

Week 2 Discussion Post
Use Google to research why Wikipedia and “homework help” sites like Course Hero or Chegg should not be used in the classroom. Explain why they should not be used in this graduate program. Also, include an assessment of the resource(s) used to support the post.
This post should be 2 paragraphs (150-200 words). Since you are engaging in research, be sure to  cite  in the body of the post and  add a reference list in APA format . NOTE: Failure to use research with  accompanying in-text citations  to support content will result in reduced scoring “Level 2-Developing” on the grading rubric.
