MEMO.docx

Instructions
You are a Human Resources Manager at Fly Eagles Fly, Inc., a company that makes custom sports jerseys for domesticated parrots.
Write a 1-2 page memo  to the CEO  of the company addressing the following:
1. Describe a  specific discrimination issue  facing your workplace (you can focus on discrimination based on race, religion, ability, national origin, age, sex, etc.)
2. Propose a training session to address the problem. Be sure to detail:
·
· Define the  audience  (executive leadership team, hiring managers, low-level managers, employees/staff, etc.) for the training
· Include a detailed  description  of the training plan. What topics will you cover?
· Include anticipated  costs  (including time away from work, etc.) and benefits (to the company, individual, etc.) of the training
· What are the expected outcomes and benefits of the training?
Your memo must include at least  three (3)  references (governmental, scholarly, academic, or legal).
Do not include a cover page

discussion 11.6

Discussion # 1
Your research question describes the issue you want to learn about, but you rarely can learn about that issue by asking others that same question.
A research question is broad but specific and should clearly address the topic and the population being studied. It should also be practical and demonstrate the action you are doing.
If your question can only provide a yes/no answer, is too general, or is not feasible, it isn’t a good research question. An example of a poorly written research question might be: What is the role of the nurses in the operating room?
Research questions are  not interview questions.
Research Question Example:  How do families with school-age children prepare them to be ready for school?
Interview Question Example:  How do you get your children ready for school?
That might be all you have to say to learn about how people prepare their kids for school, but you can add probes like: Tell me more about… or you mentioned… or can you give me an example?
You never want to ask a yes/no question in an interview because the response will not provide any reliable data to analyze.
Write a 250- to 300-word response to the following:
· What is the purpose of research questions?
· How are research questions different from interview questions?
· How are research questions aligned with the purpose statement?
Include your own experience as well as 2 citations from peer-reviewed academic journals, industry publications, books, and/or other sources that align with or contradict your comments. Cite your sources according to APA guidelines. If you found information that contradicts your experience, explain why you agree or disagree with the information.
Discussion 2:
A peer-review process provides doctoral students opportunities to explore their own ideas and thoughts as well as assisting their peers by providing substantive feedback and critical thinking questions and ideas.
Locate  2 dissertations in  ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global that are focused on your topic. Review the research question(s) in both dissertations to assist in gaining an understanding of how to write your research question(s) for this assignment.
Include links to the dissertations you located.
Post your purpose statement and two research questions that might be appropriate for your study.
Assignment :
From this week’s overview, classroom materials, the understanding you gained from reviewing the finished dissertations, and the peer review from Discussion 2, develop a research question or questions to address your study’s purpose. You will be placing these in the Research Question section in the Research Outline Template that you began in Week 3.
Provide a 300- to 500-word substantiated summary on how your research question(s) align with the study’s purpose and place the references in the reference section. You will place this summary in Appendix D of the Research Outline Template.
Incorporating feedback is essential and beneficial in the learning process and is an expectation throughout the dissertation journey. Reading feedback, reflecting on the feedback, and then properly incorporating the feedback will help to progress through the dissertation journey and improve your writing, critical thinking, and APA formatting skills.
Change Matrix
A change matrix describes the changes you make to a document based on instructor feedback.
Review the Week 4 feedback from your instructor on the purpose statement and using the Change Matrix in Appendix C of the Research Outline Template, record the instructor’s feedback in the first column, state in your own words the feedback provided in the second column, and explain what you have done to address the feedback in the third column.
Checklist:
Continue to use the same Research Outline Template you began in Week 3:
Revise your problem and purpose statements based on your instructor’s feedback.
Add your research question(s) to the Research Question section of the Research Outline Template.
Provide your summary of how your research question(s)align with your study’s purpose in Appendix D of the Research Outline Template.
Format in-text citations and references according to APA guidelines.
Reminder: Before submitting your assignment, proofread for grammar and sentence structure, re-read the assignment directions, and refer to the grading rubric to ensure each element of the assignment has been addressed.
For a well-structured scholarly paragraph please refer to the MEAL Plan section in Appendix H of the Research Outline Template.
Use the APA Tutorials located in Doctoral Writing Resources and format your paper according to APA guidelines.
Submit your updated Research Outline Template.

Week 2 Discussion Post
Wikipedia
Research will become a powerful tool in your academic and professional arsenal. One part includes finding the right resources, which means steering clear of junk websites like “homework help,” anything for “dummies” and Wikipedia. The internet allows ANYBODY to create sites, blogs, and wikis. You need to ask yourself if you can authenticate the credentials of the author or publication. Does it have editors? Is it a professor’s website from “x” university?
There are homework help sites. Let me put this bluntly: these are CHEAT SITES with many assignments written by your least gifted classmate or plagiarized from a source.
Once you’ve found appropriate sources, the focus becomes letting your voice be heard while still giving credit to the author of your resource. Want to be safe? The library contains databases of periodicals, journals, etc. Fortune, Newsweek, Journal of “xx” and even newspapers. Government resources are great, and your tax dollars pay for them so why not get your money’s worth?
Think about it this way: You are seeking a graduate degree, so we want to hear your perspective (in your words) backed by solid research. Be smart. Research smart. Write smart.
Module 2 Discussion Week 2 Resources
What’s Wrong with Wikipedia?  (2023) ‘Wikipedia Not Completely Dependable’: Supreme Court Cautions Courts & Adjudicating Authorities  (2023)  Can I Be Accused of Academic Misconduct If I Use Course Hero?  (2023)
Scholarly Readings:

Week 2 Discussion Post
Use Google to research why Wikipedia and “homework help” sites like Course Hero or Chegg should not be used in the classroom. Explain why they should not be used in this graduate program. Also, include an assessment of the resource(s) used to support the post.
This post should be 2 paragraphs (150-200 words). Since you are engaging in research, be sure to  cite  in the body of the post and  add a reference list in APA format . NOTE: Failure to use research with  accompanying in-text citations  to support content will result in reduced scoring “Level 2-Developing” on the grading rubric.

Effective Dental Practice Management: Key Strategies for Success

EffectiveDentalPracticeManagementKeyStrategiesforSuccess.docx

Effective Dental Practice Management: Key Strategies for Success
Managing a dental practice management involves more than just providing quality care to patients; it requires a blend of business acumen, efficient operations, and exceptional customer service. As the dental industry evolves, effective practice management becomes crucial for growth, patient satisfaction, and overall success. Here, we’ll explore key strategies for optimizing dental practice management.
1. Streamlining Operations
Efficiency is the backbone of any successful dental practice. Implementing a practice management software can help streamline various aspects, including appointment scheduling, patient records, billing, and inventory management. This automation reduces the administrative burden on staff, allowing them to focus more on patient care. Regularly reviewing and optimizing workflows can also lead to significant improvements in efficiency.
2. Enhancing Patient Experience
A positive patient experience is vital for retention and referrals. Ensure that your practice provides a welcoming environment, clear communication, and excellent customer service. Training staff to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally can enhance satisfaction. Additionally, consider implementing patient feedback systems to identify areas for improvement.
3. Effective Marketing Strategies
To attract and retain patients, a robust marketing strategy is essential. Leverage digital marketing techniques such as search engine optimization (SEO), social media, and email campaigns to reach potential patients. Engaging content, such as blogs and videos that educate patients about dental scheduling software, can position your practice as a trusted resource.
4. Financial Management
Sound financial management is critical for sustaining a dental practice. Regularly reviewing financial reports can help identify trends in revenue and expenses. Implementing a clear pricing strategy and offering flexible payment options can also improve cash flow. Consider working with a financial advisor who specializes in dental practices to develop a long-term financial plan.
